The world is too much with us…

Success is peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to become the best of which you are capable.
I quote this not because I love feel-good motivational silliness, but because John Wooden was one of those people that you cannot help but be inspired by. He was a legendary basketball player and coach; nowadays, in a time when sports stars are busy with money, fame, and sex, he reminds us what sports are really about. I could go on and on about him, but others already have.
His line on success was the result of years of thought, reflection, and refinement. It is a definition, and a challenge.
Now get to it.
This is the floating abode of Henry Li (that’s me!), a biomedical engineer by name and an intractable dilettante by trade.

Hello, I am a fellow yelper who came across your blog because, as I mentioned, something in your review for Cafe Intermezzo struck something very deep inside. It was almost like I could have very easily interchanged cafe intermezzo with the nostalgia of childhood or leaving the love of your life.
I really hope you one day write a novel because I just wanted to say there is something very special in the way you write that invokes and inspires straight from the heart.
I’ve only experienced this a few times in my life (reading anything by Mitch Albom or Khaled Hosseini). Have you ever considered this?
